Alarm Clock With Phone Dock and Old Fashion Phone Receiver

Well-nigh xv years ago I got my one-time man a bedside alarm clock radio with a landline phone built in. So this was only before the mobile phone blast in warning clocks with docks.

My old man loves this just recently said the handset was getting interference and thinks he needs a new one. So I said (as his Birthday was in February) "maybe if you are good Santa might bring you one this twelvemonth!" while thinking that will exist a nice affordable present for the old human.

I went to have a look yesterday at what was out there and it seems it is near impossible to get these anymore, at to the lowest degree online.

Can anyone else confirm that this is (the sorry and unfortunate) truth or maybe something that comes out nearer Christmas time as a Christmas gift thought???

I hateful fifty-fifty Argos don't have them.... Distressing times

Yeah I nearly got suckered past that 1 also - the light on actual headset gave information technology away (somewhen) for me. Thanks for trying though.

BT Freestyle 2000 Alarm Clock Radio

It's only an "extension" though then would crave a DECT base station. Discontinued merely there seems to be an Amazon seller with stock & there's 1 on Ebay.

If he's technical then the Archos 35 looks interesting. An Android DECT telephone that may be able to display a clock as a screen saver & could provide radio via the web.

I seen the offset phone you linked to and that is the same problem I am finiding everything is out of stock and I think American phones piece of work differently to British phones which tin cause issues with them working here (although I may have but made that up and convinced myself it is true!).

My dad is technical and not that old so the Archos maybe a possibility, I remember he was just hoping for something like what he has got and then was I but may accept to alter my thinking on this.
